Wind power projects in Brazil OK'd to start

Brazil's power regulator Aneel has approved the startup of seven wind farms totaling 188 MW of capacity, according to BNamericas.

The authorization allows owner CPFL (NYSE: CPL) to receive fixed revenue under the terms of its concession for the 180 MW Santa Clara and 8 MW Eurus VI wind plants, the article said.
