New solar projects coming to U.S., Puerto Rico and Peru

The T-Solar Group is developing 99 MW of solar power in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Peru.

Total investment in the U.S. and Puerto Rico solar projects is expected to be $160 million. The U.S. project is expected to generate 52 GWh annually and will be located in El Centro, Calif. The Puerto Rico plant is located in the municipality of San German and will generate 48 GWh.

T-Solar is also working to bring two solar photovoltaic power plants online in Peru with a total generating capacity of 44 MW. In 2010, Peru’s government awarded T-Solar a 20-year contract to supply PV power in the Arequipa region.
