The three companies were acquired by Hillenbrand Inc. in April 2010 and were organized into a single company with three strong brands in July 2012. As part of the growth strategy for these brands, the creation and development of a single entity by which to market as a whole, TerraSource Global, rather than individually, met the brand architecture goal of the organization.
“Operating as a single company with our market experience and brand recognition gives our global customers and business partners easy access to, and confidence in, our expertise in material handling and size reduction solutions at any of our global locations,” said Mark Kohler, president of TerraSource Global. "We currently have nine locations in five countries, but our growth initiatives are continuous and additional locations may be added to meet the demands of our customers,” Kohler continues.
There are two organizational groups within TerraSource Global that are industry-specific: The Power and Mining Group and The Engineered Systems Group.
The Engineered Systems Group, spearheaded from Greenville, S.C. by Tony Lubiani, vice president, Engineered Systems, supports the forest products and related markets with the Jeffrey Rader Corp. brand. In addition, the Engineered Systems Group will work with engineering firms, customers and contractors on a global basis to supply engineered equipment packages.
The Power and Mining Group, spearheaded from Broomall, Pa. by Doug Sublett, vice president, Power and Mining, supports the power, mining and related markets with all equipment and services from all three brands.
