Gamesa to supply 258 MW of wind turbines

Gamesa signed a contract to deliver 258 MW of wind turbines to 10 wind farms in Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. The contract is valued at 843 million Brazilian reals ($415.9 million).

Gamesa will supply and install a total of 129 of its G97-2.0 MW turbines and perform operation and maintenance services for 20 years. Gamesa pans to install the turbines in the first half of 2013 and finish in early 2014.
