Financing signed for wind and solar projects

Mainstream Renewable Power of Ireland signed a $78.4 million credit facility with Macquarie to finance wind and solar projects in four countries, including Chile and Canada. The financing is subject to approval by Mainstream shareholders.

As part of the deal, Mainstream will initially receive a $52.3 million facility, and the remaining $26.1 million will be given later pending conditions and approvals.

All of the projects have either started construction or are set to start, including the 33 MW Negrete Cuel wind farm in Chile and the 46 MW Old Man wind farm in Canada.
