Chinese nuclear power projects will use Aveva software

Aveva on Sept. 24 said it has signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOC) with China Nuclear Power Design Co. Ltd. (CNPDC), an entity within the GuangDong Nuclear Group.

As part of the agreement, CNPDC will use Aveva software for its Westinghouse AP1000 and Chinese Generation III projects. CNPDC has deployed Aveva software in 26 projects over an 11-year timeframe.
