Areva to supply uranium for EDF nuclear power plants

Areva and EDF on Sept. 24 signed two contracts to secure the long-term supply of natural uranium to EDF nuclear power facilities.

Under the terms of the agreements, Areva will supply more than 30,000 tons of natural uranium to EDF from 2014 to 2035.
