Solar photovoltaic project completed in California

The Energy Alternatives Division of Cupertino Electric Inc. completed a 20 MW solar photovoltaic project in Huron, Calif.

The PV project was built for Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E, NYSE: PCG) and was completed in eight months. It is scheduled for commercial operation on June 29.

The project was engineered and constructed by Cupertino under PG&E’s 500 MW Solar PV Program, which includes up to 250 MW of utility-owned solar generation.
