Minerco Resources abandons renewable projects

Minerco Resources Inc., a developer of renewable energy in Latin America, has released a business update for its Sayab Wind Project and Iscan Hydro-Electric Project in Honduras. The company plans to sell the two projects and divest the assets into traditional energy, such as oil and gas production and development in the U.S.

The company said the properties being evaluated have an estimated 30 percent annual return with initial capital expenditures between $50,000 to $100,000.
