Wind energy project in Oklahoma dedicated

Edison Mission Group (EMG), a subsidiary of Edison International (NYSE: EIX), dedicated its 130 MW Taloga Wind project in Oklahoma.

All of the electricity produced by the project is being provided to Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

Taloga Wind is EMG's third wind energy project in Oklahoma, joining the 19 MW Buffalo Bear wind project and the 95 MW Sleeping Bear wind project. The Taloga project uses 54 Mitsubishi turbines rated at 2.4 MW each.
