Wind energy company opens small-scale renewables business unit

Juhl Wind Inc. announced a newly formed subsidiary, Juhl Renewable Energy Systems Inc. (JRES), to meet the market needs for smaller scale wind and solar systems business.

JRES is focused on the sales and installation of Juhl's on-site renewable energy systems - including Solarbank, an on-site solar system; Powerbank, a simple on-site backup power system; and its newly designed Juhl Windharvester, medium-scale wind turbines at approximately 35 kW. JRES handles projects from start to finish, including design, sales, financing and service.
