Solar energy project receives financing

Seminole Financial Services LLC will fund a $2.5 million construction loan to construct and install a 1.5 MW ground-mounted, fixed tilt solar array in North Carolina.

The project, called Sandy Cross Solar, will be developed and owned by O2 Energies. On-site construction has begun, with installation expected to be completed by spring 2012.
