GE plans wind manufacturing facility in Brazil

GE (NYSE: GE) plans to build a $35 million wind turbine assembly plant in Brazil.

The plant is expected to be built during the next six to 12 months, according to The Wall Street Journal. The country has added about 2,000 MW of wind capacity every year, with GE reportedly securing about one-fifth of the supply contracts.
