EnXco acquires Texas wind project

EnXco has closed a transaction with Element Power U.S. for the purchase of the Bobcat Bluff wind project.

The wind farm site, which spans approximately 14,000 acres, is located approximately 20 miles south of Wichita Falls in Archer County, Texas.

EnXco intends to deploy up to 150 MW of GE (NYSE: GE) 1.5 MW turbines. Construction is expected begin this spring, and operation is scheduled to begin in December.
