Offshore wind developer names new CEO

New Jersey-based offshore wind energy developer Fishermen’s Energy says that Chris Wissemann has been appointed as the company’s CEO.

Previously, Wissemann was a founder of Deepwater Wind and recently led Great Lakes Wind Energy LLC. He has 29 years of experience as a manager, executive and developer in the energy industry.

Wissemann led the initial development of Deepwater Wind’s 28 MW Block Island demonstration project and Garden State’s 350 MW proposal to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
