Nuclear power services agreement signed

Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Co. said its business unit, Enertech and Chalmers & Kubeck Inc., have signed an agreement to collaborate in providing integrated services and life-cycle management of critical components to the nuclear power industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, Enertech will focus its efforts on sales and marketing for Chalmers & Kubeck's extensive service, repair and machining capabilities.

The alliance said it will also leverage Enertech's nuclear quality assurance program for components in safety related applications. Enertech's nuclear service offerings on major plant components include shop and field repair, refurbishment, machining, welding, diagnostics and troubleshooting; upgrades and retrofits; mobile resources; plant modernization and extended power uprate support; and inventory optimization programs for nuclear power plants and other facilities performing nuclear-related activities.
