BP completes wind farm in Texas

BP Wind Energy has announced the full commercial operation of the 150 MW capacity Sherbino 2 wind farm, the company’s third wind facility in Texas.

The Sherbino 2 project, located in the west Texas county of Pecos, is 100 percent owned and operated by BP.

BP said the inauguration also marked the installation of its 1,000th wind turbine.
