Texas wind development sold to enXco

Cielo Wind Power LP signed an agreement to sell the development assets for the 161 MW Spinning Spur Wind Project in Texas to enXco.

The project uses 70, 2.3 MW Siemens (NYSE: SI) wind turbines and will be constructed by Wanzek Construction Inc. The plant is expected to be operational by December 2012 and the output will be sold to Southwestern Public Service Co., a unit of Xcel Energy (NYSE: XEL), under a power purchase agreement.
