EverPower to acquire 30 MW Pennsylvania wind farm

EverPower Wind Holdings Inc., a unit of Terra Firma, and OwnEnergy closed a transaction where EverPower will acquire and construct the 30 MW Patton Wind Farm LLC across three counties in Pennsylvania.

The project is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2012. An interconnection agreement with PJM has been secured and the project has $3.2 million in funding from the Commonwealth Financing Authority.

The Patton Wind Project will be EverPower's fourth Pennsylvania project, including the 62.5 MW Highland Wind Farm, which became operational in 2009; the 75 MW Highland North Wind Farm, expected to become operational by the end of 2011 and the planned 140 MW Twin Ridges Wind Farm.
