Alliant Energy awards wind turbine maintenance contract

Alliant Energy (NYSE: LNT) has awarded Outland Energy Services a three-year contract to provide scheduled maintenance services and remote monitoring at the 68 MW Cedar Ridge wind farm in Fond du Lac County, Wisc. Wisconsin Power and Light Co., a unit of Alliant, owns the farm.

The wind farm began commercial operation in 2008. Outland will begin scheduled maintenance in 1Q 2012 on each of the Vestas V82 wind turbines.
