Wind power purchase agreements signed for Chile project

Pattern Energy Group LP signed a 20-year renewable power sale and energy services agreements with Minera Los Pelambres for its 115 MW capacity El Arrayan Wind project in Chile.

The wind project is expected to begin construction in early 2012 and start commercial operation in the second half of 2013. Siemens (NYSE: SI) will provide its 2.3 MW wind turbines. Skanska will perform the balance of plant construction for the project.

Pattern expects to reach financial close early next year.
