Solar photovoltaic inverters installed at two California projects

Advanced Energy Industries Inc. (NYSE: AEIS) said that its Solaron photovoltaic inverters were installed at a combined 35 MW solar PV project in California.

The project consists of two sites owned by PG&E (NYSE: PCG): The 20 MW Stroud, and the 15 MW Westside, which include 70 of AE’s 500 kW grid-tied PV inverters. Both sites are part of the first phase of a five-year PG&E plan to build 250 MW of solar power.

Cupertino Electric Inc., the engineering and construction company for the project, contracted the work out to Advanced Energy.
