Alstom wins gas turbine order for power plant in Bangladesh

Alstom has been awarded a contract by Isolux Corsán to supply gas turbine equipment and associated services for a 180 MW simple cycle gas-fired power plant in the Khulna district of Bangladesh for the North West Power Generation Company Limited (NWPGCL).

Alstom said the plant will be based on the company’s GT13E2 gas turbine and will be capable of running on both gas and diesel.
