TCI Renewables unit plans wind energy farm

Air Energy TCI, a unit of TCI Renewables, has proposed a 98.9 MW wind farm in Minnesota.

The Ellerth Windpark would include 43 to 61 turbines between 1.5 MW and 2.5 MW. Otter Tail Power Co. and MISO signed Generator Interconnection Agreements for the capacity.

Developers hope to begin construction in May 2012, with completion by December 2012.
