Wind turbine service agreement signed by GE and First Wind

First Wind (NASDAQ: WIND) signed an agreement for GE (NYSE: GE) to maintain the company’s fleet of 264 GE 1.5 MW wind turbines at eight projects across the U.S.

The eight-year service agreement expands on existing agreements and includes operations, parts and on-site support including a maintenance package. GE also will provide an availability guarantee at First Wind’s wind sites in Maine, Utah and Hawaii.
