Wind O&M contract signed by enXco

EnXco Service Corp., a unit of EDF Energies Nouvelles Co., signed a long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement with Roth Rock Wind LLC for the 50 MW wind power project in Maryland.

The Roth Rock Wind Farm, owned by Gestamp Wind North America, consists of 20 Nordex Wind N90 turbines, each with a rated capacity of 2.5 MW. Construction started in fall 2010, with commercial operations scheduled to start in August 2011.

EnXco provided commissioning assistance during construction and will provide on-site O&M for the balance of plant during the turbine warranty period and for the entire project. The company’s operations control center will also monitor the turbines on an around-the-clock basis.
