Wind energy company signs deal to supply 112 turbines

Vestas Wind Systems A/S won an order for 202 MW of wind turbine capacity from EON Climate & Renewables North America LLC, a unit of EON AG, for an unnamed project in the U.S.

EON Climate & Renewables North America LLC ordered 112 V100-1.8 MW turbines to be delivered in the first half of 2012. The contract includes delivery and commissioning along with a five-year service and maintenance agreement.

The project is expected to be commissioned in mid-2012.
