Vestas hires senior VP of Global Research

Vestas hired Pratima Rangarajan as its senior vice president of Global Research & Innovation.

In her role, Rangarajan leads a global research team to reduce the cost of wind energy through innovation.

Rangarajan previously worked at GE Energy (NYSE: GE) on its global research team and as vice president, Emerging Technology and Research at NBC Universal.

Rangarajan earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Princeton University and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
