Solar energy storage offered by BrightSource

BrightSource Energy Inc. launched a new solar thermal power plant storage technology called SolarPlus.

SolarPlus combines BrightSource’s power tower solar thermal technology with two-tank molten salt storage. The company also said storage provides operational flexibility, balancing and shaping capabilities and ancillary benefits to help support the grid.
