Small-scale wind turbines headed for Vietnam

Xzeres Corp. (OTCBB: XPWR) received a letter of intent for a $3.2 million wind turbine order from a Vietnamese customer following the completion of a pilot installation earlier in 2011.

The order calls for 100 turbines to be delivered over the next 17 months, with 11 turbines to be shipped initially. The turbines are being used for commercial and military applications. The order includes the company's off-grid battery charging marine versions of the 442SR 10 kW turbine and its 2.5 kW turbine.
