Coal to be supplied to Ameren plants by Peabody

Peabody Energy (NYSE: BTU) and Ameren Corp. (NYSE: AEE) signed an agreement for Peabody to provide 91 million tons of low sulfur coal to serve several of Ameren’s Missouri power plants through 2017.

Peabody will supply multiple products from its Powder River Basin operations in Wyoming for a term of six years, with opportunities for extension.
