Peru gas plant picks Wood Group for parts

Wood Group GTS has been awarded an $11 million, multi-year contract by Empresa de Generacion Electrica de Arequipa, S.A. (EGASA) to supply parts for the two General Electric MS6001B gas turbines at the 71 MW Central Termica Pisco power plant in Peru.

As part of the agreement, Wood Group will provide Frame 6B combustion and hot gas path capital parts. The contract will also provide for operational and critical spares along with repair of capital parts. Wood Group will use its advanced parts manufacturing program to supply the major capital parts.
