GE to supply boiler cleaning technology for Sherco

Xcel Energy (NYSE: XEL) and Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (SMMPA) signed a contract with GE Energy, a unit of GE (NYSE: GE), to supply online impulse cleaning systems for the 900 MW Unit 3 at the Sherburne County power plant (Sherco 3).
