FirstEnergy Nuclear names Lawson VP of nuclear group

FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Co. (FENOC), a unit of FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE), named Eric A. Larson vice president of Nuclear Support.

Larson is responsible for FENOC's fleet operations, security and strategic industry initiatives for the company's three nuclear power plants. He also has oversight responsibility for the BETA Laboratory, FirstEnergy's commercial and
industrial testing organization located in Ohio.

Larson joins FENOC from Constellation Energy, where he served as plant general manager at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant in Maryland and R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant in New York.

Larson received a bachelor's degree in marine engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and graduated with honors from the executive master of Business Administration program of the University of
Notre Dame. He was licensed as a senior reactor operator at Public Service Enterprise Group's Salem Nuclear Power Plant.
