Coal-fired boiler monitors installed at Jeffrey

Cemtrex Inc. installed boiler combustion efficiency monitors at Westar Energy's (NASDAQ: WRS)  1,857 MW Jeffrey coal-fired power plant in Kansas on boilers supplied by Foster Wheeler North America Corp. (NASDAQ: FWLT).

The monitors are valued at $500,000 each and are installed at 12 locations in the plant. They are multiplexed CEM (Continuous Emissions Monitoring) systems that monitor the boiler exhaust, optimize combustion fuel efficiency and produce data that is useful for overall plant process control and performance.
