Canada wind project to use Vestas turbines

Vestas-Canadian Wind Technology Inc. has entered into turbine supply and long-term service and maintenance agreements with Greengate Power Corp. to supply 166 V90-1.8 MW wind turbines for the 300 MW Blackspring Ridge I Wind Project.

Vestas will also supply 10 years of service and maintenance for the wind project. Deliveries of the turbines are expected to begin in 2012.

The agreement between Vestas and Greengate is currently a conditional order.
