Vogt supplying equipment to Venezuela plant

Vogt Power International Inc., a unit of Babcock Power Inc., will supply four heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and associated equipment for the CTCC Termocentro Power Plant for C. A. Electricidad de Caracas in Venezuela.

Vogt Power will design, fabricate and deliver the unfired, three-pressure level with reheat, natural circulation HRSGs, operating behind Siemens' SGT6-5000F gas turbines.

The HRSGs will use Vogt's SMART design, which features pre-assembly; modules, casing, interconnecting piping, and some structural steel all combined in one box, reducing the number of man-hours needed for site erection.
