Gas and diesel equipment shipped to Japan

Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) awarded APR Energy LLC a contract to provide 203 MW of mobile gas turbines and diesel power modules to help support demand in Yokosuka and Hitachinaka following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

APR Energy will also provide operation and maintenance support services.

An initial shipment was flown to Japan from Connecticut on May 18.
