GE-Hitachi to aid in Fukushima nuclear plant recovery

General Electric Co. and Hitachi Ltd. will enlist the help of Exelon Corp. and Bechtel Group Inc. to contain the crisis at Tokyo Electric Power Co.’s Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear plant, Bloomberg quoted the Nikkei newspaper as reporting in its online edition.

GE and Hitach reportedly informed Japanese Trade Minister Banri Kaieda of the intention in a meeting, the newspaper said.
