EPG Solar has secured up to $200 million in financing from boutique investment bank Unique Capital to fund the development and construction of its project pipeline.

The company said the solar projects it plans to deploy will be based along the East Coast and have a total generating capacity of close to 50 MW.

Unique Capital focuses on project financing for solar, wind and waste-to-energy projects, targeting the US, Canada and Mexico markets. The group said it expects to advise on more than 400 MW of renewable energy projects in the coming year.
