Juhl Wind investment

Juhl Wind Inc. secured $13.6 million in construction and term debt financing for its planned $21.7 million, 10 MW Valley View wind farm in Minnesota. Banco Sabadell provided the financing for the project.

Juhl Wind is the developer and construction manager on the project, which is expected to be completed in 2011. The project plans to use 5 Gamesa G87 wind turbines.

Juhl Wind first announced the wind farm in early 2009 and began construction in October 2010. Xcel Energy signed a 20-year power purchase agreement for the output.
