Alstom buys software company

Alstom has acquired software developer Utility Integration Solutions Inc. The monetary value of the deal was not disclosed.

UISOL develops and commercializes DRBizNet, a software platform for demand response management. The company will intervene as a technology consultant for utilities and public authorities and it will develop and commercialize software platforms that will mainly cover demand response, integration of renewable energy projects and energy storage. It will be a wholly-owned unit of Alstom Grid.
