SunEdison has been awarded 31 MW AC of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) as part of the province's feed-in tariff program.

SunEdison will finance, build, operate, monitor and maintain the five PV systems. Two 10 MW projects are in Rideau Lakes, one 10 MW project is in South Stormont, one 500 kW project is in Mississauga and one 500 kW project is in Whitby.

These are in addition to the 28 MW of ground-mount and rooftop solar projects already deployed by SunEdison in Ontario.
