Minerco gets environmental approval for 100 MW Honduran wind farm

Minerco Resources has received approval from the municipality of San Marco de Colon for its 100 MW Sayab wind power project in Honduras.
Last month, the company signed an agreement to acquire this wind project from Energia Renovable Hondurenas (ERHSA), reports Energy Business Review.
The wind farm is currently in the early feasibility stage of development, allowing Minerco to control in the feasibility, development, design and construction phases of the project. Construction of the wind project is expected to begin in 2013.
Minerco is a developer, producer and provider of clean, renewable energy solutions in Latin America.
