Imperial Valley sold

Tessera Solar sold its proposed 709 MW Imperial Valley solar power plant to AES Solar. The monetary value of the sale was not disclosed.

San Diego Gas & Electric Co. signed a power purchase agreement for the project, and AES Solar said the company would honor the agreement, but did not give details on development plans.

Tessera sold the proposed 850 MW Calico solar power plant to K Road Sun in December after the project faced a potential lawsuit. Imperial Valley was sued by a Native American tribe in California.
