Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. acquired Arc Products, a privately-held manufacturer of orbital welding systems and welding automation components based in Southern California. Lincoln said the acquisition will complement its ability to serve global customers in the nuclear, power generation and process industries.

Arc Products has annual sales of $5 million and employs 40 people. Terms were not disclosed. 

Cleveland, Ohio-based Lincoln Electric designs, develops and manufactures arc welding products, robotic arc-welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment and has a global position in the brazing and soldering alloys market.
