Ideas invited for POWER-GEN conferences in Asia and Middle East

Power industry professionals are invited to submit their ideas for presentations at the next regional POWER-GEN conferences in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia and Doha, the capital city of Qatar.

Call for Papers for POWER-GEN Asia and POWER-GEN Middle East are now open and papers are invited on a wide range of technical and strategic topics across the spectrum of the industry.

POWER-GEN Asia is the fastest growing POWER-GEN event and will be held in Kuala Lumpar in September this year, alongside Renewable Energy World Asia (REWA) 27-29 September 2011. The deadline for abstracts for both these conferences is 18 February.

Abstracts for POWER-GEN Asia can be submitted through www.powergenasia.com and for REWA through www.reneableenergyworld-asia.com.

POWER-GEN Middle East returns to Qatar for 2011, with the country still digesting the implications of its successful bid for the 2020 World Cup. Major infrastructure will be needed to cope with influx of football fans and the energy infrastructure will have to be strengthened in line with this. Meanwhile the entire region continues to be investing heavily in power and water plants to cope with rapidly increasing demand and is looking to roll out the latest technology and operating practices.

The deadline for abstracts for POWER-GEN Middle East is 11 March and power industry experts should post their ideas via the website www.power-gen-middleeast.com. POWER-GEN Middle East will be held 24-26 October 2011.
