GE signed a 10-year contract with Spanish wind developer Cobra Energia to provide services for 178 GE wind turbines installed at eight wind farms across Spain. GE said it represents its largest wind energy services contract in Europe. Terms were not disclosed.

The GE service agreement covers Cobra Energia’s entire fleet of GE 1.5 MW wind turbines coming off warranty between 2010 and 2012. Cobra Energia is a unit of Spanish building company ACS.
