Gamesa to construct 50 MW wind farm in Syria

Gamesa has bagged an order from the National Energy Research Centre of Syria to build a 50 MW wind farm in the central city of Homs with an investment of around EUR60m ($82m).

Syria also has engaged Vestas, a wind turbine manufacturing company, to formulate and install a wind power generation project with an installed capability of 50 MW to 100 MW in a place south of Damascus.
