Al Falasi named Dragon Oil chief executive officer

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, chief executive officer of ENOC Group, Dubai, has been named CEO of ENOC subsidiary Dragon Oil.

He succeeds Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa, who became Dragon Oil’s CEO in 2008.

ENOC acquired full control of the oil and gas producer in 2015 (OGJ Online, July 16, 2015). Dragon’s main holding is the Cheleken Contract Area, encompassing Dzheitune (Lam) and Dzhygalybeg (Zhdanov) oil and gas fields, offshore Turkmenistan.
